  • Consistently contributing your time and skills (minimum 7 hours a week for general volunteers; 20 hours a week for supervisor roles).

Vice President

The Vice President (VP) plays a critical role in supporting the President by managing day-to-day operations, driving strategic initiatives, and ensuring that the organizationā€™s mission and goals are met. The VP will collaborate closely with department heads, providing leadership and oversight to ensure efficient operations. This individual acts as a liaison between the President and staff, supporting organizational growth, project execution, and strategic decision-making. As the second-in-command, the VP will also serve as the Presidentā€™s representative in their absence, working to maintain the organization’s vision of LGBTQ+ advocacy and support. A deep commitment to the community and the organization’s mission is essential to this role. Minimum 30 hours a week.

Global Health Specialist

Global Health Specialist to join our dynamic team at a leading LGBTQ+ advocacy and support organization. This role is pivotal in advancing health equity and promoting the well-being of LGBTQ+ communities worldwide. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of global health issues affecting LGBTQ+ populations, combined with expertise in public health, program management, and advocacy.

Lead Grant Writing Supervisor & Subject Matter Expert

This role is responsible for overseeing a team of volunteer grant writers, ensuring the timely and effective completion of grant proposals. This role involves providing supervision, guidance, and expertise in grant writing best practices and LGBTQ+ advocacy. The successful candidate will coordinate the grant writing process, keep grant writers on task, and ensure alignment with Destiel’s mission and funding priorities.
