Acknowledgment of Receipt and Understanding

I, , confirm that I have received, read, and understood the Destiel HR Policy Handbook. I acknowledge that I am responsible for adhering to the policies outlined within this handbook as a condition of my role within Destiel. These policies include, but are not limited to, those listed below. I understand that adherence to these policies is crucial for maintaining a professional, safe, and respectful environment at Destiel.

Key Policies Acknowledged

  • Code of Conduct: I commit to maintaining professionalism, respect, and integrity in all interactions within the organization and with our community members.
  • Confidentiality Agreement: I will safeguard sensitive information and uphold privacy standards as required by the Confidentiality Agreement.
  • Safety and Emergency Procedures: I have familiarized myself with the Emergency Procedures Manual and understand the importance of following outlined safety protocols.
  • Attendance and Timesheet Policy: I agree to log my hours accurately and consistently, meeting the minimum weekly commitment of 7 hours. I understand that all timesheet entries are recorded in the Volunteer Verification System (VVS), which tracks my contributions.
  • Disciplinary Action Policy: I understand that violations of Destiel’s policies may lead to corrective action, as outlined in the Disciplinary Action Policy.
  • Non-Responsiveness Communication Procedure: I acknowledge the steps outlined for re-establishing communication in case of non-responsiveness, with awareness that my responsiveness is tracked in the VVS.
  • Technology and Resource Usage: I will use Destiel’s technology and resources responsibly, following all guidelines to protect login credentials and maintain system security.
  • Conflict of Interest Policy: I will disclose any potential conflicts of interest that may impact my role and adhere to the procedures for reporting and managing such conflicts.
  • Equal Opportunity and Non-Discrimination Policy: I acknowledge Destiel’s commitment to fostering an inclusive and non-discriminatory environment.
  • Volunteer Recognition Program: I am aware of the Volunteer Recognition Program, which acknowledges contributions through rewards and professional growth opportunities.
  • Volunteer Verification System (VVS): I understand that the VVS maintains a record of my hours, timesheet entries, and responsiveness. Inaccurate timesheet entries or prolonged non-responsiveness may affect my status within the VVS.

By signing below, I confirm my commitment to comply with all Destiel policies and procedures outlined in the HR Policy Handbook and I understand that failure to comply with these policies may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination of my volunteer role.
